If your power cord needs to be replaced, these kits contain the replacement power cord along with the necessary components for a proper installation.
The 1676-7R is a 6-wire power cord for use with Nighthawks that have amber only LED light strips. Amber only LED strips were used on Serial Numbers 18405 and below.
The 1676-MFX is a 6-wire cord for use with Nighthawks that have red AND amber LED light strips. These were used on Serial Numbers 18406 and above.
ONLY for use with Roadmaster’s Nighthawk Tow Bar.

Designed specifically for Roadmaster’s illuminated Nighthawk tow bar, this kit includes the components needed to replace the 6-wire power cord, ensuring reliable lighting and visibility while towing.
Product Features
This hybrid power cord has a straight portion which is designed to be routed through a channel built into the Nighthawk tow bar. This prevents dragging and provides a clean, professional appearance. The coiled portion of the cord will extend and contract as you go around corners. If you add a drop hitch or extension, the coils will stretch to accommodate it.
All of our high quality power cords are water, oil and chemical resistant. The electrical plugs are injected with silicone sealant to prevent wires from fraying or shorting, and to seal out moisture that can cause corrosion.
• Custom-Designed for Nighthawk – Engineered to fit seamlessly through the Nighthawk tow bar ensuring both safety and a clean appearance.
• 7 to 6-Wire Power Cord – The 7 Way plug is pre-installed to industry code. After routing the power cord through the Nighthawk, the 6 way connector can be installed. Instructions include wire color codes for easy assembly and to help ensure proper connection.
• Heat Shrink tubing and Heat Shrink butt connectors included – to properly seal and waterproof the electrical connections to the LED light strips.
• Power cord utilizes four 16 gauge wires and two 14 gauge wires. Four of these wires are used for taillights, brake lights, turn signals, and ground. The remaining two wires can be used for a charge line, a brake monitor or any other desired circuits.
• Easy-to-Follow Instructions – Step-by-step installation instructions are included to guide you through safe removal and replacement of the existing power cord.

• Replacement 6-wire power cord with a pre-wired 7 way plug
• Heat shrink tubing and heat shrink butt connectors (2 for 1676-7R, 4 for 1676-MFX)
