Non-Binding Tow Bars

First introduced in 2003, the Non-Binding Tow Bars series offers all of the great features of the Classic Tow Bars but with the added benefit that they provide the smoothest and easiest towing experience on the road.

There are four tow bars in this series —

Nighthawk

The Nighthawk is our newest motorhome-mounted tow bar with an 8,000-lb. weight capacity.

Sterling All-Terrain

: Motorhome-mounted tow bar with an 8,000-lb. weight capacity.

BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain

: Motorhome-mounted tow bar with a 10,000-lb. weight capacity.

Falcon All-Terrain

: Motorhome-mounted tow bar with a 6,000-lb. weight capacity.

Every Non-Binding Tow Bars has the following features —

Freedom Latch
The cam design inside the Freedom Latch transforms linear motion into rotary motion at a 400-to-1 ratio — five pounds of force against the latch equals 2,000 pounds of force against the lock. So you’ll never have to straighten and align your towed vehicle and motorhome to release the tow bar.

Locking storage latch (for motorhome-mounted models)
Simply fold the tow bar toward the motorhome and the storage latch will click, automatically locking it in place. When you’re ready to tow, just bring the tow bar up and press the storage latch to release the lock.

Built in channel guides
The safety cables and electrical wiring cord are both routed through the built-in channel guides. No need to wrap the cables or wiring.

Solid stainless steel inner arms
Solid stainless steel inner arms for smooth, trouble-free operation and easy maintenance.
Extremely durable finish Charged particles of pigment are sprayed onto the surface of the tow bar, then baked at more than 400 degrees. The paint fuses to the metal. The result is a uniform, thick and extremely durable powder-coated finish — three times stronger than solvent-based paint.

Computer-tested
Roadmaster uses computerized testing on every new tow bar design. Roadmaster was the first towing products manufacturer to use computerized testing — as well as “real world” physical testing — to ensure structural integrity, longevity, and the safety of your family.
