TAILLIGHT WIRING KIT W/BULBS & SOCKETS

Product Description

BULB AND SOCKET TOWED CAR WIRING KIT

Bulbs and sockets are typically used to wire a towed car for flat towing. They are permanently installed through the backside of the taillight housing. While towing, these bulbs perform all turn signal, brake and park light functions at the rear of the towed vehicle.

Other towed vehicle wiring kits are available, but bulb and socket kits completely bypass the towed car's electrical system. This means there is no possible interaction or back feed of electricity between the RV & car. This kit is a good option for those that are either unfamiliar with wiring or are uncomfortable splicing into the OEM wiring. Not all taillights have enough space to install an additional bulb. Visit Fitmaster to see if a bulb and socket kit will fit your vehicle.

The 155 is a comprehensive towed vehicle wiring kit. It includes a 30' electrical harness with molded 4 way flat connectors, 6' RV to towed patch cord with 4 way flat connectors, two electrical sockets with pigtails, two 1157 bulbs, wiring split loom, zip ties, wiring supplies and installation instructions. Sockets fit a 1" diameter hole.

  • Utilizes standard 1157 bulbs and sockets
  • Low profile sockets fit the widest range of vehicles
  • Completely isolates the RV's wiring from the towed vehicle's electrical system
  • Comprehensive kit including molded 4 way connectors for easy plug and play
  • Satisfies legal requirements for towed vehicle lighting

If you are needing only bulbs and sockets, a pair of bulbs and sockets is part number 155-2. For installers, a convenient 10 pack of bulbs and sockets is part number 155-10.

Note: The bulb protrudes 1 7/8" from the surface of the mounting hole. Make certain your taillight assembly has sufficient depth to accommodate these bulbs.
